Report (Narrative) Hamvention 2025 Rev A<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The BARG Hamvention 2025 wrapped up and is marked down as a great success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>( Someone needs to take that microphone away from the fellow with the orange Hi-Viz jacket) <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We&#8217;ve received unsolicited feedback from traders and visitors alike and this has been positive and complimentary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the numbers people, on the 2nd Februrary 2025, BARG welcomed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>22 of our marvellous BARG Volunteers setting up, organising and assisting traders on the day<\/li><li>23  unique trader bookings.<\/li><li>40  Tables booked for the browsing pleasure of bargain hunters.<\/li><li>Table representation from the Geelong Amateur radio Club<\/li><li>Visitors from Bendigo  <\/li><li>One organisation targetting the school aged and the younger generation (sarcnet) <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" Thank you to all traders who assisted with their prepayment. <\/li><li>Triaging of Trader entry, went very smoothly, with envelopes containing their wrist bands and raffle tickets minimising effort for those managing the entry gate.<\/li><li>Booking came in steadily, and tailed off as we got closer to the cutoff date. No last minute magic was required on behalf of the table allocator.
