Ballarat Amateur Radio Group (BARG) Hamvention 2027
Join us for the Ballarat Amateur Radio Group’s 2027 Hamvention—a great day out for bargain hunting, pre-loved gear, and catching up with the community!
Event Details
General Entry
- Admission: $10.00 per person (Includes 5 Door Prize tickets)
- Free Entry: Children under 15 (accompanied by an adult) and Companion Card holders
- Extra Door Prize Tickets: 5 additional tickets for $5 inside the venue
- Wristbands: Issued at gate entry. Please wear your wristband at all times and present it inside to collect your Door Prize tickets.
- Payment: EFTPOS is available at the gate; cash (correct change) is also appreciated.
- Doors Open: 10:00 AM
- Amenities: Food, drinks, and a coffee van will be available on-site.
Traders & Sellers
- Space Hire: $20 per 1.8m space or table (Inside or Outside). The price remains the same whether you bring your own table or hire one.
- Trader Entry: Includes entry for 1 person. One extra assistant can be added for $5 (General admittance door prize tickets are not included). Additional helpers pay general entry.
- Trader Access: Entry from 8:00 AM.
- Booking Deadline: Friday, 29 January 2027.
- Payment: Pre-payment is required at the time of booking to secure your table.
Co-Location Requests
To be placed near another trader, all bookings in your group must be submitted
within 2 hours of each other.
- Enter your co-location request in the “Other Comments” field of the online form.
- Requests are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Bookings made on separate days cannot be co-located.
Pre-Trading & Code of Conduct
BARG is committed to fair and equitable treatment for all participants, buyers, and sellers.
- No Pre-Trading: Activities such as pre-trading or prior verbal agreements before the official opening time (10:00 AM) are strictly prohibited.
- Fair Play: Attending the event signifies your agreement to adhere to these rules. Inappropriate behavior or actions that disadvantage other attendees may result in removal from the venue.
