Joining BARG

There's lots of benefits in being a member of your local amateur radio club. The club is a diverse group who are all interested in amateur radio. Some members have professional careers in related industries. Some are just interested in the technology. Amateur radio is a very multifaceted hobby, but you still almost certainly find other members who've similar interests to yourself. If your just starting out, your local club will be an invaluable source of knowledge and guidance. If you've been part of the hobby for many decades, there will be members who will benefit from your experience.

The club also provides members with access to a technical library, test equipment, metal working and electrical components as well as a range of on air gear.

Last, but certainly not least, the club provides a social environment, with regular technical meetings and social catch ups, such as coffee mornings and monthly pub meal.

It's easy to join. Come along to a meeting, or  fill in the attached Membership Application  and send it to the secretary by email to  BARG (at) BARG.ORG.AU
